Saturday 27th May saw Millie's Socks being launched at Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull.
People queued for the opportunity to glimpse the stunning original watercolours by Siobhan and to have their copy of the book signed by Chris and Siobhan.
Tony Elvin, General Manager of Touchwood, was amazing in his generosity and the whole team are so grateful to him for the opportunity to celebrate such an important moment.
Chris and Siobhan were honoured to have been joined by Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands, Clive Stone, and his family.
To have the King's representative present at the book launch was amazing in and of itself however the highlight was his toast at the drinks reception (held at Greens Cocktail Bar thanks to Sonia and the team!) He spoke of his own struggles in school and how important it was that books like Millie's Socks feature in every school in the country. A huge thank you to Clive and his wonderful family for visiting us this weekend!
Chris will be reading the book at Sandwell Children's Festival at 12pm on 28th May.
